Safe & Sound is a personal safety app designed and developed to keep vulnerable people safe while walking alone at night.

It is designed to be used in high stress situations so the design and flow needs to be extremely simple and easy to navigate.

The features are a personal alarm and flash (using your phone’s built in flashlight and speaker) on the home page, a quick to access call 911 option (to use if the situation escalates while you’re using the app) and pre-recorded audios to play and talk along to to make your Uber/taxi driver or the people around you think you are meeting up with someone. The audios frequently ask for your location, the license plate of the vehicle and other identifying factors.

There can also be an option added to record your own audio and download new ones to avoid people catching on that you are using the app.
